Disney Cruise "Dream" November 2011

Well mom and dad decided it would be a great idea to do another disney cruise over my November school break. They booked it so far i thought i would never get to go and finally it was here. We flew out of JFK on Wed Nov 9 to Orlando and spent the night at the Embassy Suites MCO. I was tired with going to school in the morning and then to the airport and finally getting on our flight. Then the next morning we had breakfast at the hotel and went back to the airport to get the transfer to the ship. When we walked into the airport guess who i saw???? GRANDMA and GRANDPA. SURPRISE. I said what are you doing here since Im here to go on the disney cruise Want to come with me too? So grandma and grandpa said we would love to. What a great surprise. So we finally got to the ship "DREAM" it was oh my goodness big! This is where we will be spending the next few days YIPPEE. We had a great time. I loved the aquaduct waterslide on the ship. The food was good of course. The private island Castaway Cay was perfect I know mom couldnt wait to get there.

Halloween 2011

It feels like Halloween lasts 2 weeks since i wore my costume quite a few times for numerous activities. My school celebrated Halloween on fri, oct 28 starting with a parade in the morning where i saw my mom, grandma and grandpa. Then in the afternoon my mom came in for our class party with a few other moms. We did some fun activities and games and of course had special treats. Im so excited that my mom gets to be with me at every class party since she is one of the class moms. Then on actual Halloween Mon Oct 31 I went to school as normal and when i came home everyone was waiting for me at the house to go out trick or treating. My mom's friend Michelle got me off the bus and we spent our annual Halloween with the Myers family going trick or treating, party on Anthony Court (yummy food and amazing decorations) and then dinner back at the house. Besides our 2 families we had 2 Grandpas and 1 Grandma to make the celebration even nicer. Hope everyone enjoyed this holiday as much as I did!

All I can say is my mom and dad throw me great parties. This year they planned my party at Little Scoops Aberdeen for me and all 15 of my closest friends. We played games, got our nails done and tattoos, makeup, ate pizza, dressed up to walk the runway (loved the red boas), made our own ice cream sundaes and gave out our favors (made by mom) I had a great party and really love all my friends who shared my special day with me.

I woke up early on my actual birthday on Wednesday. It was a school day. When I went downstairs for breakfast there were balloons on the staircase and then on my chair at the kitchen table. Waiting for me was a present it was a NEMO fish. Mom said this was a promise that when we got back from vacation i would get a pet fish so until then Im taking care of my little stuffed fish NEMO. We then celebrated my birthday in school. Mom dropped off cupcakes and napkins for my whole class What a nice afternoon special treat. Then in the evening when daddy got home I opened the rest of my presents... a pointer that I have been asking for since I started preschool and my very own iCarly electronic drum set. I love making beats on it. Also my grandma and grandpa stopped over after school and I got the fur vest i have been wanted. What a nice day. Cant' wait to celebrate with my friends over the weekend!

Family Pumpkin Picking

Since daddy and I both had the day off for Columbus Day I thought it would be nice if my family went pumpkin picking. Mom thought that was a great idea so after lunch at Bagel Talk we decided to go to Cheesequake Farms on Rt 9 like last year since they have so much there to do. We took a hayride to the pumpkin patch, walked in the corn maze, took lots and lots of pics, picked pumpkins, went on a glittery pony ride (named Rosco) had a snack and then finished with daddy paying for the pumpkins. It was quite hot in the patch but we all did just fine. Can't wait to carve my pumpkins when it gets closer to Halloween!

1st day of Kindergarten

I woke up this am on the early side (mom says 6:22am) with lots of excitement to go to my 1st day at my new kindergarten school to meet my new teacher and new class friends. I was looking forward to going to school like all the big kids on the big yellow school bus. Well the butterfly bus finally came this am (only 10 mins behind schedule) mom took my picture quick and we were on our way. It was a bumpy ride but i loved it. We got to school and i was the 1st one in my classroom. Some of the things we did was play, heard a story and did an art project, got our special folders, start to learn our new friends names, recognize colors, counting and so much more. I can't wait to see what the rest of the week brings.

Last Day of Camp

I LOVE CAMP! I really do and had a great time there. I made some new friends and can't wait til next summer to do this all over again. The best part is mom and dad said i could go 5 full days instead of only 3 full days next summer.

Each day when mom picked me up i came home with a sticker on my shirt saying CBH ASK ME ABOUT and the counselors would write about something they did that day. We even started a booklet with these stickers and mom wrote down everything i told her we did that day. The theme for the summer was "CIRCUS" so all the fun activities each week was related. Some of the things we did this summer were ziplining, rodeo roping, clown car races, karate, pony rides, carnival games, skeeball, tennis circus pig and friends to just name a few. Of course i loved swimming in the pool and going down the waterslide followed by the waterpark area.

In the craft barn i made a lamp (YES an actual lamp), painted a wood birdhouse, colored pillowcases, shirts, bandanas to just name some of the projects. Thanks mom and dad for a great summer at Briar Hill Camp.

At the end of each day after swim we got a treat usually icepops.

1st Day of Camp

Today was my first day at Camp BH and it was great. Mom drove me to camp and everyone does hug and go. A counselor took me from the truck to my group "Cotton Candies". I saw quite a few familiar faces plus met some new friends. Today the special activities were clowns, tattoos and gymnastics. I got a clown tattoo on my arm and a monkey on my leg. I played soccer today and I was the goalie. I colored a picture and am creating a shirt in the craft barn. I loved the waterpark. Also did a lot of swimming. I went down the waterslide into the pool and swam while someone watched me. At the end of the day i ate a rainbow icepop. Then it was time for dismissal and my name was called that my mom was here so my counselor walked me to moms truck and off we went to go home. I had a fabulous day! Dancing Queen... Recital Day

Over the weekend, I had my very 1st dance recital held at Middlesex Community College in the Performing Arts theater. Everyone said I did amazing! I enjoyed shaking it. I got to wear a very cute yellow and black leotard with 2 different bottoms: 1 tutu and 1 flapper string skirt. Mom took me to get my hair done with curls at Snip Snap so i would look super special for this day. My class got to do 2 dances... Get ready to wiggle and Putting on my tutu. I even got to wear makeup for this event.

I have been getting ready for this since September when my mom signed me up for a ballet/jazz dance class at Center of Dance Arts (CODA) in our town. My teacher was Ms Jen and i took this class with 2 friends, Anya & Isabel who I have known since I was a baby.

Mom, Dad, Grandma and Grandpa were able to come to my recital and it was so nice to look into the audience and see them in the 2nd row from the stage.

I can't wait to sign up again for next year!

Well sorta. Mommy drove me but i said i would go into the dentist by myself while she was outside in the waiting room.

I got an excellent report from Dr Kate. Today i had my 1st set of x-rays done. I did well. I got the usual cleaning, fluoride and had NO cavities. My bite is great as Ms Cathy asked me to get this checked by the dentist. Dr Kate said I'm doing great brushing. Based on the xray and the description i gave my dentist she said my 6 yr molars are coming in. I guess that is why a few weeks ago i told my mom and dad that my back teeth jaw area was hurting. Now we all know why.... 6 yr molars on there way up.

TC Preschool Graduation

My preschool days are now over and I am kindergarten bound. My end of year ceremony was held at the Monmouth Worship Center on Vanderburg Road otherwise known as the grandpa way of going to school. I was so excited that my mom and dad were in the front row and that my Grandma and Grandpa came also. My Aunt Dena, Alexa and Ava also were able to make it. After the ceremony I took Alexa with me everywhere to do pics, introduce to all my favorite teachers and have cake/water. Once we left and said our goodbyes we all went to lunch at the All Seasons diner. Then we returned to my house so the adults could chat and the kids could play. It was a very special day.

Memorial Day Weekend

as always we had a fun family weekend. Mom and Dad took me to the city on Saturday to see Pinkilicious. I loved it. I got pics with all the characters and they signed my book. Then we walked all around the city and had lunch before i got tired and then we headed home. Sunday just took it easy and since it was so hot we had a family water fight after daddy finished doing his yardwork. Monday we did some shopping and then bbq with grandma and grandpa. What a nice long weekend.

Mother's Day Weekend

Mother's Day started at school on Friday with a Mother's Day Tea Party. I was very excited for mom to come and have been singing the song from school for at least 2 weeks prior to the event. My mom came to school for the tea party and we sat down and had some iced tea and some nice treats. YUM YUM and then i got cold feet when my teacher asked all the kids to come up to sing. I guess i left my smiles at home that day (or mom thinks i was having a moment) Anyhow on saturday we went to LI to visit Grandma Beth and Grandpa Frank and the whole family went out to dinner. I also got to see my friend Kellie too. On Sunday we went to Grandma Fran and Grandpa Mike for lunch with the rest of the family. I was so excited i got to hold my newest baby cousin Ava. Most of the time i played, jumped, ran around the house with my cousin Alexa. We always have so much fun together. Then in the later afternoon i went with mom and grandma to the clubhouse dancing room and i played dance teacher. It was a great weekend! Can't wait to see what mom has on the calendar for the rest of the month.

Spring Break 2011

Sorry I have not written in quite some time but my mom has been keeping me very busy. Prior to Spring Break I have school 3x a week, dance on tuesday and swim lessons on thursday plus playdates and other have to do chores. Anyhow Spring Break has been a lot of fun. I had some really fun playdates, went to Bounce U with some friends, saw family for Passover including holding my youngest baby Cousin Ava and finding the Afikomen with my Cousin Alexa, went in the city with mom by bus to visit my daddy's office, had amazing matzo pizza at a local pizza place and still more to come for the weekend. Spending Saturday with my daddy while mommy goes out to do some things and then going to my LI Grandparents to celebrate Easter with them and family.

Winter Break Dec 2010

Today is the last day of our winter break vacation. After a great xmas at my grandparents in LI we had the big snowstorm followed by me, mom and dad all getting some stomach bug YUCK! We were stuck in the whole week but much better by New Years Eve. We had a great New Years Eve at my friend Anya's house. On the last day (sunday) before winter break was over mom and dad took me to see the movie "TANGLED" (Rapunzel movie) in Freehold. This was my 1st time going to the movie theater. It was fun.

Happy New Year and look forward to seeing what things mom and dad have planned for me in 2011! i know they booked another Disney Cruise for November 2011 already :-)

Chanukah 2010

I am really enjoying Chanukah and so sad tonite is the last night. We had fun lighting the menorah and saying the prayers each night especially getting a present every night. We also had the whole family over for a Chanukah dinner celebration which was lots of fun.

1st Disney Cruise

We are getting ready for our 1st Disney Cruise. Mommy took me for a pedicure at Sweet and Sassy in Old Bridge which was lots of fun I got a toe ring with my pedicure. Then I walked the runway like a model showing off my moves. Afterwards we came home and got packed. I got to use my new Princess luggage that i got for my birthday (thxs Uncle Evan, Aunt Dena and Alexa). The next morning Grandpa took us to JFK to wait for our American Airlines plane. The plane ride was good. I got lots of treats and lollipops. WOW those bathrooms are really tiny on the plane though mommy and i both fit in there together. We finally landed early in Orlando and went to the hotel for the 1st night. The next morning after breakfast we got on the bus to take us to the boat. OH MY GOODNESS What a biggggggggggg boat! We got to see Mickey before getting on the boat. When we got on the boat they announced Welcoming the WAHL Family to the Disney Wonder ship. Well i could go on about this trip but it was a great family vacation. Here are some of my favorites though we took almost 300 pics on this trip.

School Halloween Parade

Yesterday at school we celebrated Halloween. Everyone came all dressed in costume for our outdoor parade for all our guest visitors including mommies, grandmas, grandpas and some had other friends come too. This year I dressed as Princess Belle. It was freezing outside BRRRRR! Then after the parade we went back to the classroom to have a party and crafts. This was a fun day at school.

My 4th Birthday

I had a great actual birthday. Mommy and I started our day with breakfast at home. Then out to our Tuesday Ballet Class with friends which ended with munchkins. After class Anya and I with our mommies and Sierra went to Freehold Mall playground before going to lunch at Friendlys. Then we went to the mall fountain to make wishes and throw coins to hope they all come true. After our friends had left, we did some shopping and took a train ride at the mall. Because it was my birthday the conductor gave us a double ride for the price of one. Then we came home to unpack the car and then went to see the horses at Baymar Farms. I pet a horse named CODY! Finally after dinner when daddy got home i got to open my present My very own BARBIE laptop with mouse. WOOHOO! We had a great day.

My 4th Birthday Party

I had my birthday party yesterday on Sunday 10-10-10 and i was chocolicious. Mommy and Daddy invited all my local and school friends to Little Chocolatiers (chocolate factory in our town). First I got to decorate a chef's hat with markers and got a plastic apron so i would keep my pretty dress clean. Then we got to decorate chocolate molds. I chose for the girls ballerinas & slippers and for the boys old fashioned cars. Then we got pretzel rods, Oreos, graham crackers, marshmallows and ice cream cones to decorate with chocolate and various decorations. Once we finished our masterpieces and tasted some of it, we got to eat lunch...pizza! Then we had cupcakes and everyone sang happy birthday to me. :-). This was a great party!

A few weeks ago Daddy told me that we got tickets to see................ YO GABBA LIVE in the city. I was so excited that I wanted to meet and take pictures with each of the characters. We had a great time in the city. After the show we walked to Planet Hollywood for dinner. I ordered calamari, pizza and of course we had to finish up my special city day with a nice big dessert. I shared it with mommy and daddy. Thank goodness mommy packed my jammies since after this day i was exhausted and fell asleep in the Lexus.

They said the last time they were here was for mom's 21st birthday. anyhow we had a great day going on the rides I even did a bungee harnessed trampoline ride all by myself. Mommy made me a playdate with a good friend who came over to our house first. Then we all drove to the peach & nectarine farm to pick them right off of the tree to bring home to eat followed by lunch at Perkins. Since we eat so much fruit in our house Mommy thought I should pick it myself so I would know where all this fruit I eat comes from. This was more fun then just going to Wegmans!

Summer Camp

I know it has been a long time since i wrote but I have been very very busy this summer. I went to camp at Marlboro Jewish Center 3 mornings a week with 2 good friends in my group. I met a lot of new friends too. I went on a horse/buggy ride, became pirates for a week, dressed up as clowns for a circus theme and did so many other fun things. We even had guest visitors which mommy and Grandpa Mike came to for my SongFest. Every Friday we celebrated Shabbat and I even was the Imma one Friday. I can't wait to do the blessing over the challah for everyone over the Jewish Holidays.

Our 1st Family Vacation in Lancaster PA

We left Friday after breakfast and had a fun drive to PA and even stopped at every rest area to check out the bathrooms. Oh NO they are automatic flush which i don't like even though mommy puts her big purse over the sensor so it won't flush when I'm on the toilet. Well we finally made to the hotel! After lunch we went to a little shopping area called Kitchen Kettle Village and took an Amish tour via horse and buggy ride. That evening we met one of mommy's college friends for dinner in Hershey. Went back to the hotel and I got to sleep in a really big big big girl bed. Then on Saturday we went to Dutch Wonderland and I met the Princess there. We went on lots of rides and really enjoyed the water slides in the water section. After getting back to the hotel we went swimming in the indoor pool. Then finally got ready for dinner and mommy and daddy took me to a really nice restaurant close to the hotel. We got up on Sunday and headed home after breakfast. This was a great trip!

One of my TC school friends mom arranged a pedicure playdate at one of the local nail spas. We went to the Colts Neck Salon and Day Spa to get pedicures just like our mommies get when we were in school. One of my friend even got a manicure too! After we were all done we went to lunch. It was a fun day!

Well I completed my 1st year of preschool at Turtle Creek. I had a lot of fun and I learned a lot. My last day of school was on Wednesday and we had our moving up ceremony on Friday. We sang many songs that have been practiced for quite some time.

Memorial Day Weekend- Strawberry Picking

Mom made plans for us to go strawberry picking as a family with one of my friends and there family at Wemrock Orchards in Freehold. We got to the strawberry patch and met a "Strawberry Girl" who took us on our very own private hayride around the patch. We stopped to feed the goats there food out of our hands and then gave the chickens corn to eat. We touched a goose egg that was still warm. Heard a story on the hayride and finished up with picking a pint of strawberries. After this we headed to the mall play area and had lunch at Ruby Tuesday with our friends. It was a great day!

Mother's Day Tea Party @ School

My preschool class organized a Mother's Day Tea Party at my school. We made invites with paint for our mommies and they all came at 11am. We did a little show for them singing happy mother's day to you using the happy birthday theme. Each friend presented there mom with a special picture and then we sat down to have drinks and snacks.

My mom signed me up for a few weeks of ballet classes with a few of my friends. I have now had 3 classes and love it. My mom watches me on the TV outside of the room so she can see what i can do. My favorite move is the butterfly which i practice at home. Mom says Im getting better at doing spins.

After school today mommy took me to my very 1st appt with dentist Dr Jill for a well checkup. I was very excited to go since mommy and I have been reading "Dora goes to the dentist" I told all the moms & friends at pickup today at school I was going. I walked right into the office happy. I played with the toys in the waiting area. When I got called to go in for my turn I took my mommy's hand and said mommy you come with me. I was a little hesitant to go into the patient chair at first but once mommy explained that this is the up down chair like Dora the Explorer sat in I finally sat in the chair with mommy sitting by my feet. The hygenist, Roseann, was very nice and explained everything to me before she did it just like in the Dora book. i got to pick my very own new toothbrush...pink penguin. Then picked a toothpaste flavor...Watermelon. I showed Roseann how I brush my teeth at home with mommy in the mornings and daddy at night. Anyhow I got my teeth cleaned with the electronic toothbrush, mirror in my mouth for the dentist to see all my teeth, squirted with water in my mouth, air to dry it off, teeth examined and fluoride painted on with a paint brush. After this, the Dentist Dr Jill came over and said my teeth look great and said NO Cavities :-) Overall this was a great 1st appointment Afterwards I got lots of treats from the office: butterfly bracelot, a flower ring, a play teacup, a play watch.

Now I can't wait to go back again in 6 months (around october but after my birthday mommy please)

1st Sunny Warm Weekend & it is Only March

Well we had a great family weekend. On Saturday my mommy and daddy took me to the beach at Pier Village in Long Branch. We played in the sand and we even remembered to pack our sand toys this trip. We met up with some friends there so i had some play mates. We had lunch at some Greek Place which mommy picked. Then went back on the beach. I saw all the big girls and boys in bathing suits and actually going in the water. WOW I tried putting my feet in but it was way too cold BRRRRRRRRRRR! Then on Sunday i spent the day with mommy. She took me to a Passover Workshop at a local temple with a friend of mine and his mom. I got to decorate my very own Afikomen, hear the story of Passover and then we got to play some instruments to a Jewish Version of the Conga Line. Afterwards we had a nice snack of typical Passover foods, matzah, chocolate jelly rings, macaroons, matzah crackers and juice. This was a great snack.

Yesterday, we went to the Crayola Factory in Pennsylvania. It was very cool. There were a lot of things to do ... .like color, finger paint, and arts and crafts. They even had an area to draw on the walls with markers and on the floor with chalk (my mommy and daddy told me this is the only place where we can do that). We had a great time ... enjoy the pictures.

Potty Training has Begun!!!

I have started to go on the potty! YIPPEE. For the past week i have been going peepee on the potty at night before bed and sometimes in the morning when i get up. Tonight was the 1st time I made a BIGGGG poopie on the potty. Now I can't wait to wear pretty panties but mommy says only when i can keep my diaper/pull-up dry all day do i get to wear those. I get 1 M&M (color of my choice) for going peepee and 2 M&Ms for going poopie on the potty.

Halloween

I thought Halloween was only 1 day but we celebrated it 3 times during the week. I dressed as Sleeping Beauty. It was lots of fun. First we went to a good friend's house for a Halloween party playdate with lots of crafts, games & lunch. On Friday, we had our parade and party at school. My teacher even carved a BIGGGGGGG pumpkin with us. Then on the actual day, we had friends over to go out with us trick or treating and then came home to look at all we had in our bags. Its a good thing my mommy and daddy can help me with all my treats. My favorite are the lollipops! We finally sat down to dinner and then we played games/toys with my friends. What a great week!

Today was my birthday party at Kidz Village. I had a lot of friends there, including some new friends from school. The party was a lot of fun ... there was so much to do. We climbed all around and slid down the slides. We played in the grocery store, movie theater, diner, and hair salon. We even played dress up. We then all had some pizza and some yummy birthday cake. I was so happy everyone came to my party. Hope everyone had a great time!

Grandkid's Day 2009

Today was Grandkids Day at the Four Seasons (Grandma and Grandpa's house). It was a lot of fun. First we all had lunch with grandma and grandpa. Then we all went over to the clubhouse where all of the festivities were happening. They had a petting zoo, face painting, balloon animals, a pumpkin patch, and bouncy toys. My cousin Alexa and I had a great time. After we did all of the activities, it was time for some ice cream. It was a great day spending time with my family.

Today I celebrated my birthday in my preschool class. Mommy came to school with a special snack to share with all my friends at snack time. What a nice surprise that was! I have been very busy. I go to preschool 3 mornings a week. I love it at Turtle Creek. I see my friends/teachers and get to do lots of fun things. After school one day mommy told me we were going to go to Shoprite with our friends never thought this would be so much fun. We spent over 2 hours with lunch, bathroom breaks and actually food shopping. Then another day we went apple picking with some other friends. We finally made it back to Sesame Place for the 2nd time and went on most of the dry rides since it was a cooler day. I even went on the roller coaster with daddy.

My 1st Day at Preschool

Fri, Sept 11 was my 1st official day of preschool on my own. Mommy said i did great. I was so excited to see some old friends and meet some new ones as well as my new teachers at Turtle Creek in Marlboro. I learned some new songs, played with blue play dough, and did a craft with lots of glitter. I even got to have a snack!!!! At least my bump on the back of my head had gone down from yesterday accident at the playground.

On Friday, my dad took off of work and we went to Sesame Place. It was my first time there and I loved it. First, we went on some of the "dry" rides - like the carousel and Big Bird's Balloon race. As the day went on, it was getting really hot - so we got changed into our bathing suits and went on the water rides. It was so much fun! We also had time to catch Elmo's World Live - which was very cool. I cannot wait to go back in 3 weeks (thanks Mom and Dad).

1st Overnight in a Hotel - CT

This past weekend we went away as a family to Milford, CT to go to a wedding. I talked almost the whole 2.5 hours trip to mommy and daddy with a very short nap- 20 mins. Hey there was a lot to look at. We got to the hotel and daddy set up my blow up big girl bed for later while mommy and i got changed for dinner. The restaurant was on the water with a pretty view. I had lots of good food. My favorite...chicken parm. YUMMY! Then afterwards we headed back to the hotel to get ready for bed. I got to stay up late. Well after a while when mommy realized i wanted to sleep with her in the big king bed instead of my blow up big girl bed she let me come in. We finally fell asleep around 10:30am. Sunday we got up around 7am to get ready for the big wedding day for Uncle Steven and now Aunt Susan. Had breakfast at the hotel with Grandma and Pop Pop too and then checked out of the hotel. The wedding was beautiful and it was the ultimate perfect day to have an outdoor ceremony. Of course i got to eat lots of good food again. My favorite was sitting at the bar and ordering a cranberry juice. after the luncheon was over we started our drive home. I slept for about half the way and then talked the rest. This was a great trip.

Moving into my Big Girl Bed

Well on Thursday night last week my daddy converted my crib to a big girl bed. He took the up down side off and put on this little crib rail so i can now slide out of my bed instead of climbing out. The 1st morning (Friday) I came out of my room from my new bed at 7am into mommy daddy room saying good morning and woke them up. All going well with my new sleeping arrangements.

Well this morning I climbed out of my crib (did not get hurt luckily) and came running into mommy while she was doing her hair I said to her I go out of my crib to get my sock on the floor. I listened to mommy when she told a friend that once school was over (june 4) she would start on getting me transitioned to a bed. I guess we will be moving on this sooner then mommy had hoped.

Well I just finished school this past Thursday and am on a nice long summer vacation. Mommy says we have lots of fun things to do. Soon our pool club will open where i can have fun in the sun and the water playing with some old and new friends. I think we will be going to the beach, lots of parks & climbing, seeing the animals at the zoo, and taking some family car trips with mommy and daddy.

I had a great weekend. On Saturday we drove to LI to see my Grandma Beth & Grandpa Frank. I got to play with my cousin Rebecca and Aunt Jen too. I had loads of fun. Then we went to a bbq at a friends house where we played with lots of toys outside. I got wet playing at the water table.

Then on Sunday, mommy and daddy took me to a Yosi concert. In case you don't know who Yosi is... he is children's music singer. I met some of my friends there where we danced, had a snack and then went out to lunch with mommy and daddy. This was a great day!

Well my mommy has been keeping me very busy these last few weeks so i have not had time to sit down and type. School is going well though there are only 2 more weeks before summer vacation. Mommy drops me off at school and I say see you later mommy and I blow her a kiss. I have lots of fun at school with my friends. Mommy took me for new summer shoes this week and have now realized how much fun this can be. In the past i did not like the sales person touching my feet but now i love to be waited on hand and foot.

I am 2 1/2 Years Old

Today mommy took me to see my doctor for my 2 1/2 year old well checkup. I am now measuring 38 inches (95%) and 36.5lbs (100%). I was a little bit better today though im still a little fearful of going to the dr office and cried a little bit. Mommy says I'm doing better. I got my Hep A shot today and i did not even cry. I guess i was all out of tears by then. Dr says everything looks good and i go back in 6 months when i turn 3 yrs old. After the dr we did a little shopping and then went to lunch at Romeo's. When i walked in I went to the back party room looking for Miss Melissa (my past music teacher) who was at my birthday party to find she was not there. Mommy told me that Miss Melissa only came special for me on my birthday to this pizza place. Anyhow we had great pizza for lunch. Afterwards we headed over to the rec center for some playground time and on our way home i fell asleep for my nap.

With this sunny hot hot weather, my mommy took me to our good friends beach house in LBI. We drove down and listened to my favorite song the whole trip over and over again. thanks daddy for putting it on a cd in my truck. Mommy did a great job of getting us there. We played in the sand and even went in the bay a little with my toes in my bathing suit. Though i must say i did not like the ducks sharing the water with me. We had a great lunch and then used bubble wands. Then my friends mom let us paint pine cones with glitter. Then played a little bit inside before mommy said it was time to drive home. We had another fun day and I slept the whole ride home.

Now that Spring is here mommy is taking me all over the state of New Jersey to a lot of fun places. Recently she took me to Kid Junction in Branchburg and we met some friends there. My First Concert - Laurie Berkner!

My mommy and daddy surprised me with tickets to my first concert. We saw the Laurie Berkner Band at the Ritacco Center in Toms River, NJ this past weekend. I love Laurie Berkner and I watch her all the time on Jack's Big Music Show on Noggin. Anyways, the concert was great. I sang and danced to all of Laurie's songs. After every song, I asked my mommy and daddy if Laurie could sing another one (very cute). She sang all of my favorites including "I'm Gonna Catch You" and "Rocketship" as well as some new ones. I even got a T-Shirt and Laurie's new CD. Sweet! It was a great day and I loved my first concert. Talk to everyone soon.

Family Day at the Circus NYC

Daddy & Mommy took me VIP style to the circus in NYC this past weekend. I had a great time. I saw elephants standing on each others backs, horsies and zebras playing follow the leader in a circle and the tigers going hop hop hop. Sitting in a special box we had lots of food. I started off healthy with some veggies followed by a chicken nugget which then came pizza and finished with a cookie and ice cream pop... it was YUMMIE! Then after the circus was over we went to see my favorite Uncle Evan and cousin Alexa for some playtime and dinner. Yes I still ate dinner after what I ate at the circus. I love to eat.

Since I did this while my daddy is away in Chicago the pictures are not in the order of the day. We did not get that far in my training on my blog.

Day at Kidz Village

Yesterday, mommy took me to a place called Kidz Village in Kenilworth. I had so much fun. We met some of my friends there. I went shopping at the food store, played waitress in the retro diner, watched Elmo in the Movie room, brushed and blow dry the ladies hair in the hair salon and played on the amazing indoor playground. All pretend of course. I got a little more adventurous this time. Last time i watched my friend climb all over but i just could not follow her last time. I was very determined to climb all around and once i did i wanted to keep playing in this area. Update - Mommy and Me Transition Class

Today, mommy and I had a great day at school. It started out with us playing together play doh then moved onto the sandbox, next played kitchen, then made an arts and crafts project and finished up with playing with Mrs. Teacher's baby dolls. Then my teacher says it is almost clean up time, so i went running to her to ring the clean up bell. Next we have circle time on the mat. Starting today the mommies at this point left the room for the transition time (45 mins instead of 15 mins). I had so much fun especially the theme of today was humpy dumpy (translation Humpty Dumpty). Today was the 1st time when mommy left the room and i did not cry My school is so much fun with all the great things we do. Well going to go take my nap as i had a very busy day.

My First "Official" Snowstorm

It's taken almost 2 and a half years ... but today I got to experience my first decent snow fall. My daddy stayed home from work and spent most of the morning using the snow blower. Then after a little bit, my mommy got me all suited up and ready to go out into the snow. It was a lot of fun ... I helped my dad shovel and ran around in the snow. Today mommy took me to our 1st transition class at Turtle Creek and I loved it. This is where I am going to go to preschool in September also. My friend, Sammie and Aunt Nancy are in our class too. Since our class time changed to 9:30am mommy and I both had to start our day earlier and get moving a lot faster. I had a lot of fun. We made a snowman with glue and cotton balls, I played in the sandbox, met some new friends and there mommies, sang some songs, heard a story and of course they even gave me a nice snack (cheese stick, goldfish, mini muffin & juice) YUMMY. We even had some music time playing the xylophone. Can't wait to go back on Thursday.

Yes, I know .... I have been slacking .... but for good reason. I have been spending too much time with my family to hop on the computer and write an update.

I hope everyone had a safe Hanukkah and Christmas. I know that I enjoyed both holidays. I attached a few pics from Hanukkah.

I am also enjoying this week especially because my daddy is home from work. It is really nice when the whole family can spend time together. For example, today we went to Jenkinson's Aquarium in Point Pleasant. It was so much fun ... I saw sharks, fish of all types, seals, crabs, lobsters, and alligators. I even worked up the nerve to touch a starfish, a sea urchin, and a horseshoe crab.

Halloween 2008

This is my second Halloween .... and I had a blast. After I woke up from my nap, I came downstairs and noticed that my friend Isabel and her family were at our house. We played for a little bit .... had some of mom's (in)famous baked ziti .... then put on our Halloween costumes and went Trick or Treating. It was so much fun .... knock on a neighbor's door, say something that sounds close to "trick or treat" .... and they give you candy! Sweet! We went from house to house .... no stopping us ... as long as there was a light on at the house .... we knocked on the door. We also went to a Halloween party in our neighbor's cul-de-sac ... it was a pretty cool setup (my daddy took some video). As the evening went along, we started getting a little tired ... thank God Isabel's daddy brought their wagon so we didn't have to walk. We went back to our house for some fruit and then it was time for everyone to go to sleep.

2 year Checkup

Today, Momar Fran and I took Rachel to her ped 2 yr well checkup. She is a growing girl. Her height is off the charts at 39 inches (95%+) and 33lbs (90%). Rachel got her TB test and flu shot. She is talking more and learning new words everyday. Her favorite is Mommy come Rachel (meaning mommy come with rachel). My favorite is when i go in to see her in the morning rachel says Good Morning Mommy. When you ask her who will be the next president, she says OBAMA! Rachel looks forward to where we go after her ped appt since we go out to lunch and has a special treat. Today it was ice cream at friendly's after lunch.

Overall we have been having loads of fun. We take a mommy and me gymnastics class on Mondays where both rachel and i are both get a good workout. Rachel loves the trampoline and hanging on the bars. Then on Tuesdays we have music class which we enjoy. Then we finish the week with errands, playdates and other exciting events. We have just signed up for a mommy and me transition class in january at turtle creek where she will go to preschool in September.

My 2nd Birthday!

Hello ... and yes, it is true, today I turn 2! It has gone so quick and I am getting so big.

Today we had my birthday party at an Italian restaurant. My music teacher, Mrs. Melissa, entertained us by singing, playing the guitar, and letting us play with drum sticks, bells, and drums. Then we moved onto to eating - the pizza was delicious, and so was the birthday cake. It was nice to have all of my friends share my special day with me. I also enjoyed seeing both sets of grandparents at my party. I hope everyone had a great time and I want to thank everyone for their generous gifts. See you soon!

This past weekend I went to "Momars" (my language for grandma) and "Pop Pops" (my language for grandpa) for a special event called Grandkids day at the clubhouse. Doctor's Visit

Well with much preparation at home using her sesame street play medical kit she was much better at the ped office today. She walked in to the waiting room and was fine until her name was called and she saw her dr. I must say she is getting better. At least she is not crying the whole time and saying bye bye until we leave. In the past she would cry the minute we pulled into the parking lot since she realized where we were going and would not stop until we left. Now she is starting to realize when she goes back to the waiting room after her visit with the ped she gets a lollipop while I pay and make our next appt.

anyhow this was a well checkup. She weighed in at 29lbs (80%) and of course is off the charts for height at 36 inches (95%+).

Rachel has been practicing with her medical kit giving me a cookie monster shot. So when her ped was ready to give her the shot i said to rachel its time for your cookie monster shot and she put her arm out for the ped and did not cry until after the shot . The ped is very pleased with her growth/weight. We go back right around her 2nd birthday.

What a great Father's Day weekend (except for the rainy weather)!

Yesterday, we took a trip out to Long Island to visit Grandpa Frank and Grandma Beth. We also went to my cousin Johnie's birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese. It was my first time there and I loved going on all the rides.

Then today, we took Daddy to the mall and ran some errands (which he loves to do on the weekend). We also had a nice lunch and took some pictures outside.

And later on tonite we will be going over Grandpa Mike and Grandma Fran's house for dinner.

To update everyone, I just turned 20 months old.

I also love playing outside, especially now that its summer time.

And I am also enjoying learning new words .... my Daddy calls me his little parrot. For some reason, almost every day, my Mommy tells my Daddy to watch his mouth .... I wonder why?!?!?! (Usually it happens when he is driving - and he always blames it on "those Jersey drivers")

Hope everyone is doing well ... I am doing just fine.

It's been a month since my last post, so I figured it would be a good time to update the site.

Nothing really new here ... still walking, talking, and trying to feed myself. My mommy has been tricking me into drinking milk from a cup instead of my bottle. It's ok ... but I still love my "ba ba".

I got another haircut this week - didn't cry as much as the first time, but I still didn't like it.

Other than that, everything is status quo. Will update again soon! Enjoy some recent pictures and a quick video clip.

My New Cousin, Alexa!

I have a new cousin, Alexa Morgan! We took a trip into NYC yesterday to visit Uncle Evan and Aunt Dena, and to meet Alexa for the first time. She looked so tiny ... but I am sure she will grow up to be as big as I am. We had a fun time visiting. Then we said goodbye to everyone, and mommy, daddy, and I went to eat at a little italian restaurant in NYC. It was very good (and reasonable, for once). Then we walked back to get the truck and headed back to NJ. My daddy actually let me walk on the city sidewalk - it was a lot of fun. I can't wait to go back and see Alexa again.

My First Haircut

So the time has come .... for my first haircut. My daddy was saying that my hair was getting too long ... so my mommy took me to get my haircut. I didn't really like getting my haircut ... I cried and got all red in the face (it wasn't as bad as when I go to the doctor - but it was close). I made it through and I have to say, I like the new do! It's been a little while since I have updated my website, so I figured I would take a few minutes to let everyone know what I have been up to.

Most of my time has been spent training in self defense courses. Yes, I said self defense courses!

Let me explain .... so many people want to take my picture .... everyone bugs me and says how cute I am and how beautiful my eyes are.

"Rachel look at the camera .... Rachel, over here!" It is getting to be more of a nuisance and I am getting annoyed by it.

I mean, can't a girl be pushed around in her stroller in peace?????? Especially at the mall (my favorite place).

So I am taking matters into my own hands .... as you can see in this video clip .... when my daddy got too close to me with the video camera .... take that, hooligans!

PS - I am doing great - learning how to walk, eating big people food, and repeatedly say momma til it drives my daddy crazy.

Happy 2nd Halloween!

I like this Halloween better than last year .... last year, my mommy dressed me up as a pumpkin and I had to stay in the house (I was only 2 weeks old). Not much fun then.

But this year, what a difference. My mommy dressed me up in a cute little costume (I was a ladybug), and then carried me to a few neighbor's houses to get candy! October Update ....

Hello everyone .... its been awhile since I have updated my website .... and I had some free time between meals and crawling all over the house to send out this update.

In a few days, I will be one year old - boy, that was quick! It seems like just yesterday my parents were dressing me in a silly pumpkin outfit (see THIS post, if you don't believe me!).

I still crawl everywhere and my mommy and daddy have been teaching me how to eat new foods (like eggs, cheese, and crackers).

Not much of an update .... my mommy says its time for my bath ......

Boy .... has this summer been busy - all of the BBQ's, visits to the pool club, and play dates in the park. Sorry I haven't been around to update my website - my mommy has been hogging the laptop chatting with her mommy friends about I don't know what. So anyways, I have learned to crawl all over the place as well as pull myself along side the couch. I like exploring the house and showing what mommy and daddy need to babyproof. I am clapping and waving hello. Improvements everyday ... see everyone soon!

For my daddy's first father's day, I took him to the NJ Shore (relax, he drove) ... we had a great time walking on the boardwalk and hanging out by the ocean.

So ... my mommy and daddy tell me that summer is officially here. They said that means BBQ's, going to the park or pool club, and lots of fun times. As you can see from the pictures below, I think I am getting a good head start! As for an update on my official stats, I am currently 19 pounds 4 ounces and 29 inches tall - not too bad for being 7 1/2 months old (that means tall and skinny)! My new past time is to sit out on the patio with my parents, enjoying the nice weather, and giggling when I see a bird fly by. Talk to everyone soon!

In honor of my mommy's first Mother's Day, I figured I should update my site. As you can see by the picture below, I am growing up fast. I am already 7 months old. I even have two little teeth coming in ... I like to remind Daddy about my teeth when I am nibbling on his fingers! I love to talk, giggle, laugh, and eat! I also like rolling over and moving all around in my crib. I have lots of new friends and I cannot wait to play with them. Til next time ....

I'm sorry ... I know I have been slacking with updates to my web page ... but its tough being a baby. For the past few days, my mommy has been feeding me something besides my bottle ... she says its yummy oatmeal and rice cereal ... but I beg to differ. All I know is half of it ends up on my face or my bib! I am sure it will get real interesting when we start sweet potatoes this week (dirty dinner pics to come). The 3 Month Update .....

So here I am .... 3 months old ... I think I am beginning to like this! My mommy and daddy are taking good care of me. They tell me that I am a good sleeper (I guess I take after my mommy) and she is glad that I don't have my daddy's sleeping habits. So there hasn't been that much going on since Thanksgiving ... just sleeping, eating, and everything else a newborn baby does. I have discovered a new thing .... the infant swing! Boy does that thing put me to sleep. I love it. It rocks me back and forth and plays music too ... its great!

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. As you can see, I was very well dressed for the occasion. I enjoyed lots of turkey, stuffing, sweet pota...... oh, I mean .... baby formula! Hey, don't knock it until you try it - it isn't that bad.

Splish Splash, I Was Taking A Bath ...

Yes, I have found some time in between sleeping and pooping to update my site. As you can see, I love taking baths. I am not sure why it takes both my mommy and my daddy to wash me ... I mean, I am only 4 weeks old ... there isn't that much real estate to get cleaned. (My Grandpa Mike will be happy to know that this picture is Rated G - for Good arm and hand placement!)

Once I finished in the tub, my mommy and daddy wrapped me in my towel. It was so nice and warm.

And then once I was all dried off, I got dressed. So this bath time thing isn't that bad. The best thing about it is that I spend time with my mommy and daddy. Oh yea, they give me lots of kissies for not crying (that much).

My First Halloween!

So ... I made it through my first halloween! I don't really understand this holiday ... a bunch of strangers knock on our door, say something, and get free candy? I hope everyday is like this halloween ... I can't wait to eat some candy. Mommy said I am not old enough to have candy yet ... so she gave me some Similac formula instead (I think I got gypped!). Well hopefully everyone likes these pictures. Time to go cry for no reason til my mommy or daddy pick me up. Just remember, Rachel always wins! Take care.
